This post is to mainly to "advertise" aprons!!! For a few years, my family has been making aprons to sell. The more we did it, the more designs we came up with, and new ideas, etc.. Below are some pictures of ones that we sold, or gave away as gifts. The idea for these aprons was to make them reversible with pockets on both sides. Usually the pocket and bias tape and any other trim would be a color that coordinated with the main color of the body of the apron. We usually did appliques on the pocket, or we left it plain, depending on the print of the fabrics, and what people wanted. Unfortunately, in the past two years, we haven't been making and selling them due to the lack of free time. However, we're back in swing aga
The two above aprons we made for a couple who were getting married. You can see the shape of the pocket, and the border around the body of the apron.
This apron we made as a "thank you" gift about three and a half years ago. This one has no appliques, and that's partly because of the way the fabric is designed, er, the print.
Here is a sample with the applique. This is before we got into doing borders, or anything fancy like that. The pocket is square, and that was before we got into doing the rounded pockets.
Another example with the applique, although in this case it is (obviously) a name.
And yet another sample. These aprons are available to sell (not these specific ones) but I will be making some in the next few days for selling, and I will post more pictures. Of course, if you want a specific fabric, or design, then that will work too. My contact information is below if you would like one of these. If you need it shipped, then shipping is free. :)
